Hello my name is Emily Thomas I am 10yrs old. I became acquainted with the flute when my dad bought one about a year ago. I loved the sound and would try to play when he wasn’t playing. My dad signed me up with Mr. Twohawks' flute class back in the spring of 2008.
I and my dad have been playing ever since then. We have bought five new flutes, two just came in. My dad bought me a flute made of apricot wood it is very pretty and sounds so good. It has my name written on the side in turquoise. It is in the key of A
I try my best to play the flute every day; I got to play on stage with Twohawks and Ancient fire just a few weeks ago. And then I got to help them sing at the Baton Rouge Relay for Life.
I also got asked to play last week at my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary I made up a song I named the song Love is for Ever. I hope to play a song soon in church to honor the Lord.
To sum it all up I love playing the flute.
